  • Washington state foster parent here, they don't take away children for "being poor". They may have used that 20 years ago but neglect is litterly neglecting the child's needs to survive. If DCYF get an case to investigate a child's situation and find that they have financial issues to meet basic needs they will bend over backwards to get the family all sorts of support be it medical, housing, food assistance , etc. When a kid is taken away for neglect it's because the parents leave their newborn at home for 10 hours while they go to the casino or some other fucked up shit. Least that's how it is in Washington state.

Boss hates his family and will twiddle his thumbs until 10pm and then say you have to come out for drinks until 2am. If you don't comply, your life will be made hell, and there will be a zero chance of career growth.

    This type of culture coupled with shit economy has turbo dived Japanes population growth. There's 10-million "abandoned" homes in Japan, IE old person died alone and you can buy a fully furnished home for $7-50k. Honestly, I'm look at Japan as a place to move and at some point they're going to advertise to open the doors for immigration or completely revamp their work culture....or go extinct as a country.
