  • Demonstrations do work, maybe not in the way you think the demonstrators want it to work out, but they surly give attention to a problem.

    And it is not only internal, it is important to constantly show the world, the e.g. not all Americans are fascists (by demonstrating against trump) etc.

    If no one demonstrates, the rest of the world thinks, that the whole population of that country agrees with its government.
