You are presenting issues that are irrelevant to the tax. Yes those things you mentioned are unfair and should be regulated accordingly. Those are irrelevant to an inheritance tax. If you want to create a wealth tax over a certain amount that’s fine but call a spade a spade. Don’t hide it as inheritance tax and allow wealthy people to hide their money in other ways like trusts and businesses.
Just because everyone is getting fucked doesn’t mean it’s right. Double taxing only hurts the poor because they can’t hide money in tax free investments or businesses that they use to write off expenses.
Brother the only way it’s cheaper to source your own panels is if you buy them outright. Less than 50% of Americans have a savings account let alone 10k in disposable income.
If you take out a loan for the panels the payments equal what your electric bill would be and by the time you pay off the panels it’s time to replace them.
This is an absolute fact: the government refuses to invest in green energy because it produces too much energy and they’d have to give out power for free.
Because it is theft. If my parents are successful and pay their taxes why is it fair to double tax a child’s inheritance. You tax earnings and income. You don’t the same money multiple times.
It’s pretty much the same but on Reddit it’s ok to be combative and rude with people as long as public opinion approves. Also most of the posts are bots so you aren’t actually being rude to a person there most times.
Please don’t do that here. There are way less bots here so please remember you are speaking to actual humans.
Also political discourse is mostly ok here. Same rules apply with rudeness though. On Reddit you will get quarantined or shadow banned quickly with anything politically charged.
It’s for when you want to connect your phone to the Bluetooth. You have to go through that whole process of selecting “add phone” then find the connection in your phone and connecting to the car. Most newer center consoles won’t let you add the phone if the car is in drive. Not even moving but in drive.
Unironically I always kind of thought these messages were stupid on the media center for the car. As a passenger why can’t I add my phone to the aux while driving?
I know the answer already but still it’s very annoying😂
It’s possible for me but my workouts are short and I do them at home since I have some weights. Also since I work nights, my weekdays I don’t really see my kids since they’re at school so I have a lot of free time available during the day for hobbies. If I worked days it would be impossible.
In lawsuits, details matter. Ya if a person jumps down the stairs it’s their fault. If a business failed to clean up a spill because they layed off workers to reduce costs and a customer falls down the stairs, yes it is the business’ fault.
There was a strong propaganda push in the 90s to make you think that. Mainly stemming from that McDonald’s lawsuit with the coffee. It was a PR campaign let by corporations and tort reform advocates to downplay the seriousness of corporate negligence and place the blame on consumers to try to stop people from suing.
Clearly it was successful. Billion dollar corporations have an obligation to create things with public safety in mind. If nothing else, to make sure they have the max possible customers. If a product injures or kills a customer the business should do everything in its power to correct and amend that. To blame the customer for corporate negligence is absurd.
