  • None of those things individually have any impact on the game. And none of them are likely to ever make it into a game by a company like Bethesda. The fact that you're nitpicking these kinds of things, with no real basis, really makes you wonder the actual reasoning behind your post.

  • Issue being, people are always going to drive the speed they feel safe at. A sign, a rule, a law will do nothing to change that, unless you have a pig on every corner enforcing them perfectly. The way you change that is to not make the roads feel safe at faster speeds. Fewer, narrower lanes and traffic calming features will do more for the issues than any speed limit signs will.

At the end of the day, a straight, flat, multi-laned road gives the feeling of safety at high speeds. I won't say this is THE intent, but at very least is a side effect of the multiple lanes in each direction. Lower that to a travel lane in each direction and a turning lane. Add some medians. Add a chicane or two. Suddenly people drive slower because that's what the road actually supports.

  • Part 2 may as well not be out. I've forgotten its existence and will continue to do so until it's on PC. Like any other game. Fuck your exclusivity.

  • Why does none of this sound like it'd make a game bad, unless you're hoping your fantasy RPG will own the libs?

  • The good kind. Really sturdy. Put a toll booth on it, get your money back in no time.

  • Clearly a scam, if you need to send money to anyone, DM ME, I'll make sure it gets to the right place. Also, any interest in buying a bridge?

  • Oh nice. I missed out on the wiiu entirely, so I wasn't aware it was as capable as it is!

  • Original Wii is a very capable CFW/piracy device as well.

  • Simple answer is an increase in the number of cars and the number of pedestrians. If cars are 10x safer for pedestrians now, but there are 1000x more interactions...

  • Speed limits are arbitrary factors set in place that don't make sense for the roads they're on. They do nothing for safety, and often become a speed target. If you want to reduce speed of cars (which I agree is a good thing) the best way to do so is to make traveling above a certain speed feel dangerous to the driver. Chicanes, medians, and narrow lanes encourage that. Speed limits do not.

    Speed limits are bs.

  • You lost it at the second line.

"You never have permission to speak freely. You will speak only when spoken to, and only about the direct conversation at hand. Always and forever. Never ask me this again." Is the proper response.

  • Scruffy knows, scruffy just don't care. Only thing it does for me is get me to turn off all notifications for that app, if I need the app, or uninstall it if I don't. But I'm spiteful.

  • See that's all fine and well. More people should do that. But then you get the people who don't want to live near people, in the middle of a city. The "have your cake and eat it too" kind. And that's just not feasible.

There really is no one-size solution to housing. We need, and all benefit, from having some degree of options, but importantly, those options should be attainable, and all have their costs/drawbacks.

  • Cuffed would be more like detained. Not free to leave, because they're actively investigating, but no charges are being presented. Literally just placed in cuffs while the police do their snooping.

  • Sounds delicious to me. A spicy sweet sauce, perfect on top of a burger.

    Edit: or Chicken sandwich

  • I feel like when you're talking corporations, hanlons razor needs to be reversed. Never attribute to stupidity what could be adequately explained by malice. We'll call it Nolnahs razor.

  • Nice alt account bro

  • We do blame Israel. In the mean time, this piece of technology is actively saving the lives of innocent people. Of all the weird things to be upset about, the one that's explicitly defensive maybe the weirdest.

  • All good. These kinds of things get off into the weeds all too easily hahah. Take care.
