  • I was referring to how it affected website development, not UX.

From my understanding of the article the author has noting against js, just how it affects the development process and architecture choices.

  • Thats not a duel! Weaponise them and let them battle it out. The winner gets the boot! (Pun!!)

  • Nah. im right on target, but thanks for the great insights

  • Yepp - it was, but that day was 11. June

  • That’s not a zero-day… Really dislike media that waters down or misuse terminology

  • No - I never coded complete websites in flash. But if I did my «upload of the whole container» would have been my deployment

  • Yeah - it’s in the rules

  • Flash never got in the way the same like js. My main take from the whole piece is how it has changed the way websites are developed, to match that of traditional software development. Like the need to deploy to change some text in the footer of our website

  • I think he wants to do server side, not client. And that the dns filter picks up those ip addresses or ranges, and let some through.

  • Or uses a device that rotates mac

  • Yeah, Programmable Power Supply mode can be programmed (in realtime) to deliver from 3.3 to 21 volts in 20mV steps. For current im not totally sure how it works, i think you can set a limit.

  • I believe (based on nothing but a whim) that us shopping culture is based on buying supplies (shopping for a week or more) while the European shopping culture evolved more from daily supplies from the market. Rural Europe would be the same i guess, but old cities was made for daily commerce

  • Nice. You you restore often?

  • How often do you do this?

  • To me it’s very gimmicky and requires a lot of work. It probably fits English speakers better as I’ve not had any luck using local voice.

  • 13542?? Really??

  • The voice focus is fucking el-el-lame

  • Im not talking about profit, im talking about wasting resources that could be spent better. We still need to upgrade schools, hospitals and keep everyone fed.

My daily commute is 20min drive to train station in a nearby town, and then 50min by train. Now if I could get rid of my car, that would be great. But spending 7.5 billion NOK to service 6k people thats madness and cant be sustainable even in fantasy

  • Ye - fuck’em if they dont live in cities. They can wait for trains or drive their combine harvesters. How sustainable would building rail to cater for 4500 people over 40km?
