  • That would have been a more informative headline

  • I'm not being dishonest. Just questioning the value of the information. Of course rich people are more likely to leverage a social network that contains other rich people?

  • People with money to spare have more money to share. Makes sense. I'm not sure if "poor people don't have enough money to donate to natural disasters when they're all suffering together" is much of a headline though.

  • I strongly disagree with the people who say pet insurance is prohibitively expensive.

We pay around 120 per month for both of our cats and it has paid for itself several times over. When we had 4 cats, it was under $200 per month.

One emergency surgery can be over $5,000.

Dental issues can be extremely costly.

We had a cat with chronic allergies. Insurance covered his ongoing immunotherapy treatments which were over $100 per month.

We had a cat with cancer who had over $10k in treatments and surgeries covered in less than a year.

I strongly, strongly recommend you get quotes from a couple reputable providers. We have been very happy with trupanion.

Then, call your vet and ask how much surgery for an abscess, tooth extraction, cancer treatment, or broken leg is. Then ask how much an ultrasound is.

We have saved thousands of dollars over the years with pet insurance.

  • I didn't miss it.

You misunderstood my comment. These regulations you're talking about either don't exist or they are ineffective, because we are suffering the greatest economic inequality in history while corporate profits are at an all time high.

But good luck, I hope you become super rich doing business so you don't have to suffer with the rest of humanity. Have fun buying clean water tokens in a couple decades!

  • I'm not aware of any common sense regulations that take precedence over corporate profits, but keep up the good fight I guess.

  • Capitalism is a scam.

It's an unsustainable system predicted on infinite growth that necessitates unconscionable inequality.

  • I've been doing this for a decade.

Highly recommend it. The only thing some people don't like is using a keyboard and mouse on the couch, but there are endless solutions for that.

  • How much do you think should it cost to use?

  • I've literally never heard of an apple product that was discontinued.

iPods and the Newton come to mind.

    Not many examples though eh?

  • Both.

They shouldn't have launched 4 chat apps and killed 3.

They shouldn't launch products with no plan to support them.

They shouldn't kill products that customers use.

  • There's some good points in this article about how launching products irresponsibly has weakened Google's overall portfolio and eroded customer trust.

But there's a whole of of weird anti-worker vibes in here too. Overall I really don't think the problem with trillion dollar mega corporations is that people don't work enough dedicated hours.

  • I've always wanted to do this.

What's a good source to buy them?

    What models do you recommend?

  • 10 years ago, I started dating a girl and her cat licked my hair. We got married and have lots of cats together.
