  • These are fabulous! They're even (hopefully) inspiring me to get back into non-objective art, which I haven't done in years.

  • Fascism cannot function without scapegoats, and trans people are the smallest minority group. Once they normalize persecuting the smallest group, they move up to the next group which is slightly larger than the previous. It's the Nazi playbook.

It looks like autistic people are next, based on RFK's bullshit.

  • Ohhhh this is fabulous. This could've been written yesterday, or 50 years ago... and it would still be as relevant as it was on release.

    Ooof I made myself sad.

  • And then he hits on your Mom, and tries to trick her into reaching into his pocket. It doesn't work because his creepy shit only worked on the women who were required to interact with him for their careers.

  • It's funny that this post and this comment have this very specific timing in my life. Just yesterday I had a realization that I need to start questioning my thoughts with closer scrutiny. I knew about my intrusive thoughts and am actively dealing with those, but once you catch on to them they become quite blatant.

The really tricky thoughts are the subtle bullying, the kind that gruadually erode your self esteem. In my case I have a bully in my brain that closely resembles the bullies I dealt with growing up. Meditative practices teach us to observe our thoughts and let them pass without giving them a reaction. This method can also be used when we're not actively meditating.

  • You'll have a few minutes to admire their cute little ears as they eat you while you're still alive. Silver lining!

  • The good news is that I think it's hurt his fame. He had a show in my town last year, and I live in a medium sized city. The venue was small for an act that used to fill stadiums. Only 1,680 seats.

  • Yep. All I see is an abuser. It's so wild that this entire time that he's been famous we thought he was playing a character. Turns out he's just a huge piece of shit.

  • Dual booting has existed for a long time but this same boost in performance when using SteamOS might not appear on desktops.

  • I wonder if this same concept would apply to desktops. If you could install both SteamOS and keep windows for when you wanted to run something other than a game. This could be huge.

  • Maynard James Keenan has also listed her as one of his influences.

  • Damn straight. Peanut butter is the best tasting food in existence and adding sugar to it is wildly insulting.

  • This is something that needs to be taught in public education. Capitalism has a way of destroying our self esteem and the cycle needs to be broken. It's so frustrating that I can understand this but need to be constantly reminded of this by a frog.

  • DAE?

  • Yeah, maybe. It certainly is a tragedy. I miss it when memes were just dumb shit which a person with an inane, absurdist sense of humor could appreciate. Politics are everywhere now.

  • I'll admit I don't know much about her outside of those videos of her grilling CEOs when she was part of the Progressive Caucus. If she's as pro average citizen as she seems, she's better than most. What don't you like about her?

  • Ohhhh. I didn't know he couldn't run again. That certainly explains his recent turn. I really like Katie Porter overall though, and wish her luck. I love watching those clips of her grilling CEOs. She seems like a no nonsense type of person. A little car brained is something we can work with.

  • Ohhhh I didn't know that. It certainly explains why he's taking this turn.
