I hate that AI has made it harder to enjoy code reviews. I know it's always been a common thing to have ripped code in a PR but at least it took a tiny bit of skill to adapt it properly to the codebase.
If I see a clever (and maintainable ofc) solution in a PR now I usually just assume it was AI that wrote it. This goes the other way too, if I write some code I'm proud of, I assume my reviewers will just assume it was generated :(

The term and all the other -american prefixes has always weirded me out. It feels othering with a veil of progressiveness. I often find US progressives almost loop back around to enacting segregation again
We need to ban American media entirely. Québec is lucky in that Americans haven't figured out how to spew their propaganda in French yet. Sometimes I think we'd be better off as a country if we were all francophone
I'm not super knowledgeable on American donation laws, are there limits to how much a "person" can donate to a campaign? In Canada it's limited to around CAD$3000-$5000 but I guess if corporations (sorry, "people"), can dump tons of cash into campaigns it means there's no limit in the US?
