Yeah but they’ve got a point. US politics are practically all satire these days anyway and seeing it in every community has to be tiring even for Americans? I want to see a NotTheOnion article where the punchline isn’t a metaphorical punch in the face

I think they suffered the same fate as Nickleback where radios just WAY overplayed their music until everyone hated them (even if they made some good songs)
I guess The Netherlands or any other country that has proper bike infrastructure isn’t the real world.
And even in Canada where the infrastructure sucks, I have multiple small grocery stores in my area within walking distance and one big one within a five minute bike ride. I just don’t do Costco suburb size groceries loads and I could easily survive without a car
Also for renovations, you can rent a van or get a cargo attachment for your bike
This 100%. You’re getting downvoted but I don’t think Americans realize how irritating their fellow countrymen can be on the internet and in person to non Americans. There’s also the defaultism as if everyone is American (or wants to be American) which gets REALLY tiring after a while
I agree, but the point of my comment wasn’t that my country’s any better because it’s absolutely not. I was mostly just pointing out that on a global platform, it’s odd to say “our nation” without specifying which one
Yeah! It’s fun but definitely exposes that the average comment section is mostly made up of the same people.
I have you at +2
