  • No, I understand that. But if you don't have any symptoms aside from "having the flu", they're just going to give you Tylenol and send you home. It's a waste of hospital resources, unless, like I said, you have extraneous circumstances.

  • I, unfortunately, have had the pleasure of knowing a couple of ICE agents before all of this and can tell you that their training, at least historically, was more involved than that of your typical police force. They have dedicated training facilities that all members are sent to for several months.

    To be fair though, yeah, I'm sure that's all gone out the window in their current phase rapid hiring any piece of shit that wants to shoot brown people, so the point is moot anyway... nevermind.

  • Ehh, I wouldn't be so sure. I'm pretty sure ICE has a decent bit more training than your average municipal cop. A lot of them are ex military as well, such as Jonathon Ross, hence his itchy trigger finger.

  • I think life required more effort back then, but we did not evolve for today. The lives we live are so insanely overstimulating and foreign to what we were meant to experience, which I think is probably significantly more overwhelming.

  • Really? I apologize then, I thought she was intentionally blocking them (which I 100% am in support of, to be clear). I bought the propaganda, I guess, weee :(. Thank you for the correction.

    Edit to add: Did further reading and watched earlier video context, and yeah. She was literally waving the ICE cars ahead of herself as to not get in the way. She had nothing to do with the situation and they assumed by her mere presence that she was an agitator and not just someone in the wrong place at the wrong time. JFC.
