  • Definitely considering looking into portable Faraday cages...

Guess it doesn't really matter when the license plate on my car is tracked everywhere I go and all the big businesses use face identification the moment you walk into their stores, probably all run by the same vendor and packaged and sold to the highest bidder.

    I hate this dystopia.

  • I think it's useful for writing mundane snippets I've written a million times or helping me with languages I'm less familiar with, but anything more compex becomes pretty spaghetti pretty quick.

  • Actually, a lot of people care.

  • If we're lucky, they'll do a Toys-R-Us and make EA fund it's own buyout.

  • Intelligence is not a genetic trait

Wait, where the hell did you get this idea? Racially? No, intelligence spans significantly from individual to individual regardless of race, but on that individual level, genetics have a significant impact on intelligence.

Not only that, but the movie makes no commentary on race whatsoever, throwing that in is solely your own addition.

  • What are you, the Trump Administration?

  • Sounds like a good time to me

ETA: This was meant more as a joke, specifically from own neurodivergent and introverted perspective. I do agree that people in general are more tired in modern life and that is arguably quite bad.

  • Tfw dual citizenship and can't trust myself 😬

  • Then it sounds like it should be celebrated that someone with significant presence on the world stage lends their name, bringing the news of this flotilla to further reaches.

It's hardly my fault if news about the previous one did not reach widespread audiences. I would have loved to have followed it, too. I simply never saw anything about it.

  • You sound a little biased, my friend.

  • I am the former. "You're so smart, you just don't apply yourself" is a sentence I have heard my whole damn life.

  • Man, I'm lucky if I remember to bring my bags to the grocery store...

  • Suicidal tendencies, mostly. As much as I wish I could buy a gun, I'd probably be most likely to turn it towards myself.

  • What was the problem? It was set to not Microsoft Edge.

  • I mean no judgement, don't get me wrong. No need to defend yourself in any way. The whole joy of Linux is setting up your system how you want it. That totally checks out though.

  • GNOME on Arch just feels so wrong to me...

  • It does and it doesn't. One is a slow fall into fascism, one is jumping off a cliff into it.

Don't get me wrong, I'll pick the slow fall every time, but...doesn't really make a difference in the end, does it

  • I mean, both parties are objectively crap. One of them is just more objectively crap.
