  • I’d say probably something shining consistently but getting obscured by clouds or whatever else is most likely. Could also be something like a geostationary satellite but I think those would have very dim reflections at their orbital distance

  • Coming from the guy who denounces the DotP as “one of the worst political ideas put to paper “ (paraphrased) this is not surprising at all. Fuck Joe Sims and all of the other revisionist opportunists at the top of CPUSA siphoning so much revolutionary energy into impotent chauvinist reformist bullshit.

  • I’ve tried but they just don’t get back to me

  • Non car transportation exists, trains will get your goods to the store but vastly more efficiently. But you’re probably baiting anyway you car brained hyper individualist dweeb

  • Pseudoscientific nonsense. Touching your feet to the earth will not electrically remove free radicals from your body, it makes no sense theoretically. Time in nature generally is the big benefit here. But walking barefoot is just putting yourself at unnecessary risk while doing it. Could lead to more slips and falls, puncture wounds, or parasites like hookworm or just ticks.

  • This isn’t true, they’ve supported other devices in the past. They’ve been Pixel-focused for the security features that other manufacturers haven’t offered

  • I’m the type of fish to brag about eating the bait

  • Sounds like the deal that would’ve been worked out three years ago if not for US/UK/EU puppeteering over Ukraine

  • You say that like the reason for those things isn’t because of the design of the cities. It is exactly advocating for the car centric design that keeps it car centric down here. Sincerely somebody who’s lived in the south their whole life but doesn’t think cars should define your life

  • Agree with the other posters regarding LinkedIn, direct applications to specific companies on their websites, and also word of mouth/networking events. Lots of universities have job fairs that are open to anybody, obviously check their policies first but those are a great resource.

  • When I was a kid my uncle had a really round rock that had a spot on it and he would tell us it was a cow’s eye. I was petrified by it and would run away the moment he pulled it out lol

  • When I was a freshman in high school I was drinking out of a plastic water bottle and an upperclassman squeezed the bottle and all the water came out my nose

  • Jumped over a puddle on a walk a couple of days ago. But seeing this post prompted me to jump in my room for fun, so right now is the real answer

  • NYC being 75% drivers makes no sense to me. Obviously it has a lot of people driving but if you’ve ever been you’d know most locals are on the subway or their two feet for most trips

  • Like the cross body bags we were all wearing in 2018 sans 90% of their utility lol

  • True it’s complete commodification of a human being, objectifying on another level. I’m very critical of it, especially in a society so exploitative already to place people into desperate and precarious positions. I doubt most people doing it would choose to continue on if there was another way of having their basic needs met.

  • In fallout new Vegas there’s a sniper that keeps watch in the mouth of that Dino lol

  • Oh happy day

  • Fr I had a friend give me shit for reading Bell Hooks saying it was part of the performative male stereotype. Sorry I’m not gonna stop being a feminist because some people pretend at it for attention or whatever. it’s good shit and we should be encouraging people to dive into works like these and step away from toxic masculine thinking
