21/F (she/her) Chronic commenter and resident visual artist. Nice to meet y'all

  • I'm a total Speed Queen I love high BPM songs in rhythm games. I agree with your take, I consider anything from 200-250BPM a fast song. 300 BPM is insane speed, I played Yaminabe!!!! on Project Sekai ages ago and it briefly reaches that speed at the end and I struggled with that. I have no idea how people play the expert and master chart of that song.

  • Here's my very sleep deprived rendition, enjoy.

  • Personally, I use it to find recipes and keep them all in one place.

  • Intimidate a French man by moving him back to his original postion on the stairs while I pose dramatically. /ref

  • I'm the right dragon like 85% of the time 🫣

  • Yes, that's my favourite part of crocheting as well!

In terms of my favourite creation, it's hard to say. If I had to choose it would be the blanket I made when I first started out. It's nothing special, it's essentially an upscaled version of the practice double crochets I was doing but it still looks nice. Plus, it's made from a heavy yarn so it's super warm during the winter. But I think it's my favourite piece because of the memories I have of it. While making it, my late cat Princess (cat in photo) would love to lay on the finished bits while I was working on it and of course attack the working yarn. Around the same time, my late cat Potter had to get his coat shaven down due to bad matting. It was November? when he got shaven down so he'd spent a lot of time wrapped up in that blanket to keep warm.

My yarn stash it just a collection of all the yarn I thrifted during my hyper fixation tbh😅 I did manage to get a good amount of wool or cotton yarn for cheap tho.

  • Me with crocheting, at least I got a cool blanket and plushies out of it.

  • I do guided meditations that you'll find on a mental health focused app if that makes any sense. 😅 I mainly use it to help me relax before I go to bed. I've been doing this for a couple years now and I enjoy it.

  • Me if I was a philosopher

  • Interesting! I'm also Canadian but still see garbage bin running along the side of the trucks to pick up bins.

  • It's tiiiime! /ref

  • In the trail near my home they are downright relentless. It's a popular place people go why are you biting me as if you'll starve.

  • I know that Trump isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. But, considering how obviously guilty he is of being on the Epstein files, why would he even push so hard for them to be released anyway? Does he really think that is he just insist that it's the Democrats fault or something about Joe Biden sniffing a kids hair that people will ignore it?

    Wait a minute......

  • Amazing! I applaud these victims for choosing to speak out and stand up to their abusers. I hope that the rich and powerful men that traumatized them won't try to silence their voices as they make the names of these shitheads public.

Who am I kidding, he most likely planned to do that and it's working. I hate it here.

  • We had a couple of brutal heat waves where I am this summer. It was like 35C but reached 43C+ with the humidity. It's probably not super hot from where you might be, but it's practically unheard of in my Canadian province. I couldn't go anywhere without feeling like I was melting and I was covered in sweat it was so embarrassing! >_< Summer is my favourite time of year, I love going on long hikes regularly but the heat made it impossible.
