  • I've always thought I had a 4s laying around. But just checked and it's a 5c. With a broken screen. Would that be worth to have fixed and try to jailbreak to use it in 2024?

Most I do is Whatsapp, Lemmy, YouTube and browse the web. Casually.

I have a Galaxy S7 right now but it has never been comfortable to hold for me and the battery is getting old.

  • CD sound is better. But I like how big the pictures of the albums are with vinyl. Vinyl is more about the ritual though. With all the pop sounds and stuff I wouldn't prefer it over CD.

  • While I agree with you, I still want to be able to buy CDs.

  • free-mp3-download.net is shutting down

  • But I want 320mbps and I don't want the extra sounds that come with some music videos.

  • I did not know about this one. I was using my free mp3 juices but that seems to have died in the beginning of this year.

  • Well I mainly want the big scrollbars back. Even if these shadow scrollbars of 2px width don't auto-hide,I still hate them.

I did find an addon at some point but it seems that it can't override system settings but I can't find where it should be a system setting to use these slim scrollbars.

  • Sounds like a YouTube video I'd love to watch.

  • I would love that!

  • Maybe audiophiles are kinda gullible and they prey on them.

  • What I hate is how in Firefox in Linux I only have these tiny "slim" scrollbars that hide when not in use.

  • Ooh, reference to the Matrix.

  • I think what they mean is that when you buy the game on Steam, you can't just download the game files through their website. You need to install their client. Which can be seen as a form of DRM.

  • I feel your pain. Flatpack can really ruin partitioning strategies.

  • Still using Office 2003. No changes and working just fine.

  • So what would you use if you developed text editors?

And as a side note, would would you use for html and php?

  • I'm also very excitied to see what 2027 brings as that is the year manufacturers are required, if they want to sell in the EU, to make their phones extremely repairable.

Now that is something I did not know. Now I'm also very excited.

  • Neil Armstrong sure has a cool autograph

  • Well, I had dinner with Bill Gates. And he told me "who are you" and "how did you get in here".

  • Thanks for this. I get now why the devs are pissed.
