  • I think I'm mostly up at night because it's nice and quiet. And I don't get bothered while doing things.

I could see myself waking up at 5 for the same reasons.

  • I bet you have a plant that talks to you. Like that South Park episode.

  • Ah yes. MicroCanonicalSoft. Ubuntu used to be great. But they are working hard to ruin it.

I am currently looking for an alternative that has a similar allround-ish support for hardware. Ubuntu supports my Macbook and my Acer Tablet out of the box while others do not competely do so. I could write a whole rant about the tablet with 64-bit processor but 32-bit eufi bios and intel processor that kinda obscures access to the audio and wifi devices unless you use a specific driver.

I'd prefer something debian based but I can't stand flicking in video playback or scrolling through a webpage. Which is why I like Wayland at the moment, since it fixes those things.

  • Not really a solution but couldn't you have come up with a script to run after each update?

  • Nice. Thanks for sharing!

  • That's how I feel installing 5+ apps to modify Windows until it works like it did in Windows XP.

  • Thanks for pointing this out. I'm loving it.

  • Now that's a great way to sprain your ankle.

  • I wonder what would be the benefit of using AI over writing a script that calculates these things.

  • This sounds like that meme.

  • I can't get off of YouTube because there's 20+ creators that are like family to me.

  • Aurora Borealis?

  • Turns out the people in IT don't actually make the computers either. Who'd have thought?

  • Ahbso Droidify is a kind of store. I was wondering why I had it installed on my phone. I don't think I would ever try to repackage things or how they explained it.

  • I'm a cool person. Was cool ever it?

  • Same here.

CrossFTP seems promising. Also has the multi OS support.

  • I'd say avoid AVG too then since it's basically Avast.

  • Those dumbasses have been doing this for years. I don't know if it has viruses and such in it but it has had the bundled stuff for a while now.

    I wish it didn't since it's a great program.

  • I still disagree with the notion made up by punlishers that you buy a dvd or cd you somehow only buy a license to view it. I never agreed to that and you can't just print text on something to make it so.

Ofcourse I don't have the right to make reproduction but owning the physical product should make me the owner.

Maybe not related to your comment but I wanted to rage about this.
