  • The year when LLMs exploded.

  • It is called symbiosis. Both sides benefit. So, there is profit for both.

Formally in economy most transactions are of the same property - benefit for both sides. You buy a car, both car seller and you benefit: it is obvious for the car seller, but for you it is much cheaper to buy a car than make it yourself.

  • I would divide by two (floating point) and check the fractional part.

  • No, this is about NS. Natural Stupidity.

  • Thank you. This paper though does not state that there are no emergent abilities. It only states that one can introduce a metric with respect to which the emergent ability behaves smoothly and not threshold-like. While interesting, it only suggests that things like intelligence are smooth functions, but so what? Some other metrics show exponential or threshold dependence and whether the metric is right depends only how one will use it. And there is no law that emerging properties have to be threshold like. Quite the opposite - nearly all examples in physics that I know, the emergence appears gradually.

  • I do not think that it is “linear” progression. ANN by definition is nonlinear. Neither I think anything is “mathematically proven”. If I am wrong, please provide a link.

  • While it is not alive, whether it is a mind is not a clear cut. It can be called kind of a mind, a mind different of that of human.

  • I think that a lot of antisemitism and pro Hamas/terrorism statement can be self-reported as pro-Palestinian, and of course they will be and should be blocked. No surprise here.

  • Obviously, with so many different AIs, this can not be a factor (a bug).

If you have no problem looking at the image, then AI would not either. After all both you and AI are neural networks.

  • Where did I say that I do not care about Palestinian lives? Seriously chill. And Hamas existed in force before election of Hamas in power. Why do you think Egypt blockaded Gaza too? It is Hamas who prevented and prevents people of Gaza to live their lives in peace with neighbors and without blockade from neighbors. (Which I already told in my previous post). I care about lives of civilians on either side, but you looks like have just spewing hatred for one side.

  • Out of curiosity, did you react as emotionally when Hamas specifically targeted and executed 1500+ civilians in Gaza? Do you react the same way knowing that Hamas still shoots rockets with a goal to kill civilians? Do you? Do you understand that if it were not For Hamas goal to destroy Israel (apparently including civilians) nothing of this would not happen including blockade by Egipt and Israel? That people in Gaza could have lived more prosperous lives in democratic state if it were not for Hamas who usurped power since 2006 and kicked out political opponents from Gaza? Do you?

  • If you were in power in Israel, and care for its citizens, what would your steps be as reaction to what happened? Please imagine both short and long term consequences.

  • Why are they abandoned there? How did it happen? Is it because of the one way travel from Russia?

  • WHAT? CAN’T HEAR YOU!!!

  • Yes, hard liquors are much better.

  • Black background would have been better.
