In my opinion its only useful against unsigned boot attacks and such,also you have to go through Microsoft for signing which is pretty bad if you wanna reduce reliance on Microsoft.
Sounds like someone strict(and i think way more paranoid then rms) on free/libre software similar to rms(like down to the assets and firmware)But I agree alot on the licensing.
Not me, i just use Stable Debian.I only Put Debian Stable on Computers I will rarely use.
I wouldn't use Debian on a Gaming pc, I would prefer a rolling release (Arch based) Or fix release every 6 months
There is ARM also found on apple,raspberry pi,Orange Pi but those are SBCS(except apple) they can always be turned into normal laptops and desktops and such.The only problem with ARM its a closed ISA like X64.The only Problem with both ARM AND RISC-V They are RISC not CISC like x64 so better power consumption with lower clock speeds, bad for desktop great for laptops and such.Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
