  • IntelliJ IDEA runs on a jvm right not a electron app??

  • Same but I use Cromite or i try using a electron app (like heroic) on my pc.

  • Maybe native directx on non-windows hosts????

  • The only thing i use google for is lens and couldnt find a good replacement for it,Tineye is subpar.

  • Real

  • Meh i find it slow.

  • CrossOver am pretty sure was designed to be easy and way more compatible to run Windows apps/games.

  • My favorite game :D

  • Cinnamon, Feels like Gnome done right,it's stable, customizable,Mehh resource intensive. Sadly no HDR AND VRR and a bit messy underneath the hood but I can use gamescope for HDR and VRR and i kinda wish the extension ecosystem was great. My workflow idk but I rarely use gtile actions like Send to kde connect and file converting is useful.

  • A reason why I never joined LW.

  • So basically Librewolf + Gentoo patches + fire jail patches + custom theme

  • Or a computer you use once a year or smth.

  • If you want CachyOS I highly recommend you to have atleast Haswell or Alteast Ryzen If you use AMD due to their Compiled packages and stuff.

Endeavor os If you don't have atleast haswell/Ryzen.

Stock Arch If your fine building it.

Debian I wouldn't recommend to use for a pc you use often.

Popos I never used it before but it seems like a "stable gaming" Distro.

Mint is also a great option I use it on pcs I sometimes use and it's also easy to use.

  • I skipped Nobara cause there is only KDE And Gnome and it's based on a Fedora base.

  • Ok here is a bit of a rant Fr, Especially on Arch based distros where the Aur (which is wayy better) exists + I don't use gnome I use Cinnamon(Gnome done right)

  • Am used to New Reddit UX (2020-2022ish) but i still like this tbh.

  • If you want Nvidia Reflex,DLSS and RTX and GSYNC,etc and your fine with installing out of tree proprietary drivers and fine with some minor issues(Like rarely breaking randomly) Nvidia If you don't care about Nvidias features AMD.

  • Reminds me of Tails OS tbh
