The hotel I stayed at in Park Slope Brooklyn for a few months was $90 per night after I worked my hotel discount magic (this was a few years ago). As a 6' long person, I nearly had to sit sideways on the toilet. I couldn't close the door because of my knees. No problem!
They already redacted names from the speed dial and words (names?) in another photo from those photos released the other day. If they finally release this shit it will be heavily redacted. That's why it was slow-walked, to give time to make sure everyone who matters is protected.
I'd say they average one mistake per $150 in my experience. Double scanning stuff happens. They don't seem to be trained in which fruits and vegetables are which, so they can easily hit the wrong thing and charge you double.
Nah it's just a precursor to having all your online activity tied directly to your identity. That's the purpose. I'm sure plenty of misguided elders in government think it's about saving kids from porn though.
For real? China is approximately libertarian? I'm not here to say China is worse than most others but it has a massive state surveillance operation. There is rampant censorship of opinions and media. The penalties for drug possession are severe. The economy is heavily influenced by the government if not centrally run. It seems pretty far from libertarianism.
