  • Everyone letting McConnell off the hook like he's not responsible for the past 20 years of deterioration of the Senate.

  • That's a big time problem

  • They're accoutabilibuddies.

  • That is correct. The state legislatures generally (if not always) picked the senators, but due to huge state corruption, it was almost always political qui pro quo, and some states even going full terms without selecting sla sentaor. This led to the 17th amendment (which you'll here rednecks and/or white supremacists asposing, because states' rights.)

Edit to add: Wikipedia knows it better than I do.

  • The first one: "Work and starve."

  • And he's Hawley. I'm in Missouri and plenty of people here hate his guts. Granted I'm in a city, I hear that from a lot of people in the counties too.

  • Lulu Garcia-Navarro. I grew to like her when she was on NPR.

  • Gwynne runs the show at SpaceX, and frankly, she's fucking awesome at her job. The CEO is a blowhard, but Gwynne is calling the shots day to day.

  • I may be wrong, but I think he's an "adjudicated rapist" because it was a civil matter. Correct me if I'm wrong though, because I'm just parroting something that I've heard.

  • Not only does it move, but it gets covered by an ad and it has to track your eyeballs on that tile for 5 seconds before it reveals the desktop. That way, you spend a minute watching ads looking for the real desktop.

  • Dumb or horribly self-loathing. Unfortunately, there are plenty parts of America that help instill that feeling.

  • I think he's being so transparent about being opportunistic and using them for their votes that even his smoothed brained base can see it and think it's okay.

  • Already has. See Florida HB 433. Rights mustn't get in the way of costs and profits.

  • I read: "Biden and deaf dog Teddy got lost in a neighbor’s yard." I was disappointed, but willing to believe it
