  • Who knew? That's what I get for believing the National Academy of Sciences! Thank you for correction.

I was going to argue with you for weeks for daring to challenge my claim, but then I remembered I am tired

  • No, THAT was Obama, he did that with one of those secret "brown note" weapons.

    OBAAAAAAAAAAMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

He just makes me so mad!

  • For many years, State's rights was one of the few "Republican issues" that I agreed with; I think stronger State government is needed as a check and balance to the Feds from gathering too much power. They are the ONLY real check and balance in my opinion as judges are much more easily bought.

So, the Rs have done the "old switcheroo", like Democrats have with labor post Reagan.

Now, we have unchecked Federal government power and practically zero labor, with 10% of labor force in a union. Labor was a fantastic source of support for the Democrats for many years, from organizing protests to strikes and so on to force change.

And humorously, that 10% is mostly government employees and police and such. The unions have been bought out and/or dismantled.

AND the source for organizing now, social media, is also the State surveillance system. Infiltration of organizations is automatic. No exceptions.

    Good luck

  • There was a study on judges and parole hearings, and early in their shift they were much more likely to grant parole, and the closer it got to lunch time, the less likely they would grant parole.

After lunch, they were again much more likely to grant parole, but as the day wears on they are more and more strict.

Consider this an anecdote I am not going to track down the study to prove the great debate or anything I'm tired

  • But money earned in labor can be converted into property, you see.

You can't decide that YOUR labor money is more valuable than MY labor money. Maybe you spent your labor money on prostitutes. Maybe you spent your labor money donating to churches.

It doesn't matter. I spent MY labor money on property.

  • They also fought tooth and nail against fiat currency/central banking...

So of course we have the FED, the king of all central banking!

They also fought tooth and nail against the federal government being a moral arbiter with too much power....

So of course we now have a goliath super surveillance state working hand in hand with megachurches and companies!

They also fought tooth and nail against military/police power abuse...

So of course now we now have asset forfeiture and immunity to prosecution!

    etc., etc.

The problem with ignoring the constitution for decades is you can't decide it counts now and try to enforce it...

  • Instead of trying to extend the prole's work life by a couple years, we COULD tax billion-dollar companies and their owners by 2% more and make three times as much money!

But we can't! Sorry. Our hands are tied

Also, can't afford minimum wage increase this year, the budget is tight

Oh! Almost forgot! We need a raise of 10% this year, and it's time for our winter break! After winter break, it's spring break. Then we will come back to "work" to pass more important legislation, right before our summer break.

You don't get breaks every year? Damn. Well, life is not fair what can we do later gator

  • Companies shut down for employing illegal workers repeatedly and even employing children?

    Zero.

(we wouldn't want our chicken baron to make only 10 billion a year, would we? He can't afford any more cuts! Did you know he only owns six cars and ONE raggedy old 2022 jet and some yachts? Did you know his house staff is now less than a DOZEN people to take care of him and his needs like making snacks and cleaning up his pee and stuff? He just pees on the floor so what)

  • I have worked in food service and retail and to tell the truth I would choose "picking up shit with a shovel" over either any day of the week. Wouldn't even blink, give me the fucking shovel no problem boss

  • None of us can handle the "big picture", we are all at best familiar with just a small portion of the fuckery going on. There isn't enough time in the day

It's not even a "USA" thing. Wait until other countries figure out it's an international consortium of the super wealthy families and business interests that have been around since the slavery days!

They own Think Tanks and publish opinion pieces and studies all over the world, and own most of the modern media landscape, and trade practically everywhere in US dollars and more (each country is different, you tell me the country and I'll tell you how they subsidize or are subsidized by the USA-UK superfriends).

Check out the Panama and Pandora Papers for starters, and so much more.

They are not even vaguely US nationalist, they will drop the USA as soon as it is more profitable than not to do so.

  • Why are you waiting, you can do it tomorrow!

USA is at most a plane ticket away.

  • The christofascists are actually ENCOURAGED here for a reason, they are very easy to control and manipulate (as any television show on The Christian Network will reveal immediately).

They are also used against each other (various religions and sects), that's why they are all tax-free! "We" want it to flourish. They are perfectly divisive.

  • Don't worry! God will "let there be money" and save the university!

We just need your help to get there. Please send us money so that God will make the money, only then when you have less money will you make more money to be like us, then you'll be able to make money with the money you gave God so that He could make the money.

It's all so simple. You don't want to burn forever in Hell, do you?

  • Of course! That's the good cop/bad cop pattern that is US politics.

Party A makes a horrible mess and makes intractable changes that are never reversed.

Party B "saves" the people with landslide election, making small temporary concessions to much fanfare whilst leaving all of the actual nightmare machine built in the prior decade untouched (example Patriot Act, Citizens United, more).

    "We were so close!"

    "Just a few more votes!"

"We can't make these changes overnight"

Stagnate for a generation or so and rake in immense treasures.

"Oh no we've printed too much money", "help all of our manufacturing went to Mexico", et al spiraling problems and out of control mess.

Party A, the same party that 10-20 years ago wrecked absolutely everything, is here to save the day! Finally! This is the last election! They have had to collect only "significant treasures" for some time, we have to switch it up again so they can now make "immense treasures".

Parties then actually change and/or eliminate their "platform" and even switch places completely here and there. The "donors" and political elite remain the exact. same. people. The Fed keeps on working, and somehow even with the Fed keeping a firm hand, the banks make record profits. Oh no! they will collapse from their own profiteering fraud, we need to give them tax money so they can make money with the money they already made money with for 20 years. They will pay us back, of course... but only AFTER they "print" all of that money that costs them nothing to print to pay us back with. Wait, they don't even bother to "print" it, it's just a number in a server. It's even easier, the rug pull is so simple. Somehow, every year the banks/corps/robber barons own more land and gold and the actual people own less.

Rinse and repeat from 1970s until today! We will be saved from the villains who saved us from the villains who saved us from those other villains! We're a democracy, see?

(I hope I'm wrong and instead they have a constitutional convention and SAVE THE WORLD and universal healthcare and "chicken in every pot" New Deal politics and firm corporate control and monopoly busting and separation of church-state cemented and banks removed from banking regulation and so much more. but I don't think so.)

  • There's evidence that they didn't even get to see! So much of it, more than I am able to possibly list here.

It's obvious you are pro the US courts, and can't be trusted with serious decisions in any way. I would pray that if I ever went on a trial that you would be on my jury, because you are very naive and easy to manipulate. Why, with you on the jury I'd likely be acquitted!

Anyways, if 20 women say a man is a rapist, I think he's a rapist. If 20 kids say a guy is a pedophile, I think they are a pedophile. And so on

But you go ahead and believe the "judges" like Clarence Thomas and Anthony Scalia, and their millionaire lawyer lackeys. It's your call

  • I think he is the canary in the coal mine and could never be elected in an actual functioning "democracy/republic"; the mere fact that he is in office means we're just in the beginning stages of an absolute shit show heavily influenced (perhaps controlled completely) by the heritage foundation/council of foreign relations and their financial backers (it's actually a pretty fascinating rabbit hole)

I 100% hope that you are right and I am wrong. Maybe we could even get union membership over 10%, CRAZY

  • Sure, use duck-duck-go and search for "Michael Jackson pedophilia history"

Maybe Google would work too, not sure.

Lots of guilty people are acquitted, that doesn't matter to me. Where I'm from, if 20 women say a guy is a rapist, he's a rapist. That's it. Regardless of courts and officially being found "guilty".

If 20 children say "this guy is a pedophile", I think they are a pedophile. I have my own evidentiary standards and am not limited to court decisions.

Courts also say "corporations are people" and all sorts of wacky shit, in USA courts are a joke.

  • Ha, Einstein yeah right.

    Thanks, Obama

  • The FEDS don't even follow FEDERAL warrants, subpoenas, etc.

That's just for the proles, silly goose
