If there's anyone who should be punished, it's the employers benefitting from undocumented migrant work.
Have them cover the costs, whether of legal status or of deportation with financial compensation to those deported (depending on your stance on migration).
Even if - and that's one huge "if" - the amount of work done increased linearly (or at all) with hours worked, this would be a single digit percentage improvement at best.
You'd get more work per hour of a worker's time by endorsing remote work (think of all the hours spent in traffic).
Isn't that exactly why? Everyone is too burned out from living their lives, and the predatory (heh) nature of social media platforms is draining even more energy from them.
We need to support each other and help each other get out of this state, not point fingers at each other.
And when that happens, uniting and bringing them down will be possible.
That said, jail isn't nearly enough punishment for the Epstein class.
Not to mention the entomological impact (because this whole thing is really bugging me)
