  • My family always made a very careful list which was followed when grocery shopping.

    Now that I do my own shopping I also make a list, on my phone though. I note down only the very essentials and leave most things open to what I can find whenever I get to shop. For example, I really need eggs and deodorant so I write that, but if I need veg I don't list the type of veg, I just note "veg on special" and make my choice on the spot.

  • Depends a lot. I guess the short answer would be yes, but as a single with no children I must admit it would initially make me feel uncertain.

    Edit: thus is just my personal take. I believe it's nobody's business to say who should date who, each to their own.

  • One hundred percent agree with you and have experienced the catcalling from the receiving end. But I don't see how the study does anything useful or state something new. Now if they said the men involved were catcallers, that'd be interesting. I would imagine catcallers would not care about the women if they participated in a study like this

  • I haven't read this study but what matters to me is, are these same men catcallers themselves? Most men I know don't catcall and already understand it's unpleasant so I'm not surprised this is their reaction

  • Now that's something I've never seen before. I agree, it is absolutely unreasonable. I find it interesting that instead of just removing the maintenance fee you instead remove the expiry as well as the fee. I don't understand the logic but, it is what it is I guess

  • No expiration date? In which country? I'm in Australia, I've worked in a couple retail stores and it's usually a 3 year expiry for gift cards. You also have the generic visa gift cards you can purchase at supermarkets, same 3 years.
