  • I mean, this is a procedurally generated dungeon crawler, running on the Game Boy Color. It's literally a demake of an isometric 16-bit game now in 2-D 8-bit. If you can think of a better roguelike on GBC, I'd love to hear it.

  • Lol, might wanna take your own advice. How embarrassing for you. Funny how that info was only a click away.

  • Neglected Pixels? Lol, truth is they were always poorly made midrange phones sold at high end prices. Google has never made good hardware, not even accidentally.

Mangmi is back with a new handheld called the Pocket Max, hot off the release of the fan-favorite Air X

  • 30fps, still no mods, still buggy as all fuck without any means to fix those bugs, and now with horrible input lag added on top.

Started a new game, the dragon wouldn't break the wall in the tower at the very start. Had to start again from an auto save made after character creation. Even the second time the dragon barely broke the wall to get out of the tower.

They may have touched up a few things for Switch 2, it's hard to tell, but so far it seems like they added 1080p support to the Switch 1 version and called it a day. How the fuck aren't mods supported for Switch 2, does this mean Fallout won't have any either?

And yeah, this was never gonna play at 60fps at 1080p. Even the ROG Ally X can't hold the game at a stable 60 at 1080. Bethesda would have to optimize the game, and clearly that ain't happening. The horrendous input lag clearly shows nobody tested this shit.

The AYN Thor is looking like the perfect way to emulate dual-screen games

    guiltygamer.com /ayn-thor-review/
  • Also seeing more and more emulation handhelds out there, like MagicX with the Neo 40 and One35. These are definitely courting those interested in vertical play

  • Schreier couldn't be bothered to list what the employees positions were. Gonna take a wild guess they weren't devs. Even better, the union Discord clearly has a leak. Now that's how you protect workers, amiright, unless these employees were dumb enough to spread the word at work

  • Nope, just a personal account of using the phone for the last couple months. Take notice there is zero advertising on the site, no affiliation whatsoever, it's completely unmonetized, created for readers not bots or corporations. I literally got the phone to deGoogle, so it seemed appropriate to the sub to me.

  • Check out the Bigme Highbreak Pro, that sucker is 5G.

  • Should be fine, grab the apk from the site or get it from F-Droid. You'll have to install a browser or F-Droid first, but the Mudita Center app makes this trivial to get the APK on the device for install.

  • DeGoogle Yourself @lemmy.ml

I started my deGoogling journey by using an E Ink phone devoid of GApps, and I couldn't be more pleased

  • Every once in a while, I get matched with competent players in Rocket League, and something magical happens that makes me grind. Feels rarer and rarer these days, but it still happens, which is why I still play.

  • Lol, have you seen Gnome? It's already too late.

  • I dunno, I'm posting my boards one a week to social media like Twitter and Reddit, for a year. 52 boards, and that's not even the entire collection. I'm putting these boards into Keebuilder, as a way to track my collection while adding in all the nice photos I'm taking for the social posts. There's certainly no shortage of using my boards when posting to social media, but I do see your point that Keebuilder is a phone app and you don't use a keyboard to fill in its information.

I guess for me my boards are getting use no matter what, I'm fine with using my phone to catalog the collection, my boards aren't complaining they're getting ignored.

  • It really has stood the test of time. It's a great shooter
