    No political ideology would be able to radially change things for better as human beings peaked on their capabilities. Further progress is impossible without some sort of technological breakthrough, and a political system that would resolve around it.

Their brand of communism is capitalistic asf, and with authoritarian govt on top. So the only thing they reliably do is to corrupt the government and make them sign some bad deals, ultimately people lose.

    It's very much like why Ukraine was so pro-USA the whole time, even before the war happened.
