  • I also recently noticed that the "fetch a remote post" option doesnt work on piefed.zip at the moment, with "an unexpected error has occured" message. not sure if that is a .zip problem or a Piefed problem, but could be related

  • you just made me wonder what the smilie button even does.. it's emoji reactions! I probably saw this some months ago, but since they're not within my 3rd party app, I don't use them. so not sure how important they are/how often they get used

  • what setting? you don't stop seeing content by downvoting it. I don't know how that would work. Or do you mean the "hide content I have interacted with" setting?

  • @rimu@piefed.social piefed properly displaying quote posts from Mastodon would allow users the following workflow:

    1. See a great post on Mastodon/Sharkey/... that is a stand-alone microblog post, and therefore not on the Threadiverse
    2. Use my Mastodon or Piefed account to create a quote post, quoting this great microblog post
    3. Inside the quote post, mention the Piefed community I want to post it into. Thus, making people in the Threadiverse aware of this great post and spreading it further.

    I think it would be great!

  • Some of them only ever were successful in Austria, especially those who were artificially pushed by one of our national radios at the time (Ö3 & FM4). Others were highly successful internationally, but only within their specific genre.

    I'd guess there are a few ones who had airplay in Germany at that time, with Christina Stürmer as the probably most obvious example?
