  • I don't know where you are and it probably matters, but in France you would need to suscribe to an enterprise contract to use your own gear, or smaller ISPs. At best, we can put them in bridge mode. You need to look out for your ISP for that.

  • Pour faire un peu de vélo personnellement (dans le sens pour moi, pas en groupe et encore moins en compétition), je m'intéresse aussi aux technologies et de ce que j'ai pu lire par ci par là (cyclingabout est pas mal du tout pour une approche académique du sujet), 63g c'est peanuts, et les équipementier peuvent les regagner facilement. Le poids minimum de l'UCI est à 6,8kg mais on a pu voir sur gcn un vélo de 3,6kg, je pense que 1/100 ça peut se gérer. 60g c'est aussi 6cl d'eau soit une grosse gorgée d'eau. Je vais aller lire l'article mais c'est assez hallucinant.

    Arès avoir lu l'article du monde (qui manque un peu de détails) et sans avoir cherché le manifeste, on dirait que c'est plus une histoire te procédure que d'avoir un GPS, les équipes ayant refusé ayant déjà le leur.

    The thing is : microsoft won't stop spying, collecting data is a nice business, and also most people don't need windows:

    • Office docs can be open through onlyoffice, or you can also switch to libreoffice (the best option would be raw text like markdown or csv with a nice editor)
    • Who really needs advanced photoshop stuff that gimp can't provide ? AI ? (also gimp devs just revamped the project to bring modern features inside the editing core)
    • web browsers work on linux.
    • only kernel anticheats do not work on linux because kernel. Shame on the devs for needing a full fledge malware when it is purely cat and mouse (and if game devs could provide hostable private servers this would be nice). Also, I don't know if it works but this project exists

    Finally, posting this on the fediverse is a bit ironic : why would you go on a small userbase social network when you can just go on facebook, X, bluesky or reddit ?
