I think I'm almost at that time where I dump the internet. I'm 50 and I was an early adopter. I'm a very frequent user, however this is not the internet we all fought for. It's been slowly eroded to a corporate money grab and I'm not really down for that anymore. I'm tired and I think the internet needs to go away for me.
I can't even imagine how many trips to the tv I would have made as a child of this were the case. My father in law is still watching cable tv. He mutes every single commercial because of the volume. He's almost 80 but he's been doing it as long as I can remember. My wife says it never was like that when she was a kid cause she was the remote.
I live rurally. We've had community boxes for decades. It's not more difficult at all. Just means less of making bomb proof mailboxes because snowplows and teenagers.
I've had a burl with the ends coated in truck box liner spray for almost a year. I'm cracking into it this winter to make a bathroom sink for my house. It hasn't seemed to crack at all. It's in a storage shed. Protected from the elements. It will be interesting to see what's inside.
You would be surprised to hear some of the things that go on dictated by the college in various provinces. Please do not assume about them. It's in your own best interest.
I assure you the college has its hand in every single thing doctors do in your province. They dictate, yes dictate, everything the doctors of that province do, say, how they work, why they work, when and where they work. Like cops, doctors don't step outside doctor protocol. Well known nation wide by anyone remotely related to the medical field. If the college decides they don't like it, it will end.
