Don't downplay this shit and fall into dehumanizing others because they must have done something to deserve the position they are in. Don't lose sight of empathy. Try pretending it's a loved of yours. If one of mine fucked up and deserve punishment then fine, but there better be a fair trial and they deserve their chance to prove their innocence.
I think 2 is possible, but the right messaging is needed to get people to say fuck it. There are a lot of Americans I believe are silently waiting for a movement to get behind, but the fear of rent/mortgage etc. next month is stopping individuals from acting. We need to realize that we managed to survive as a country when we didn't go to work for a bit because of covid. We need some leaps of faith or leaps of "fuck it, I'm going down on my on accord if I fail".

The "best" would be some kind of DC to DC converter, but I'm not sure there's anything plug and play atm because there's a wide range of specs laptops want. If your laptop happens to change with USB c PD or whatever the spec is that'd be the most efficient that I'm aware of. No sense in going dc->ac->dc if it can be helped.
