  • the hell hahaha, what is the context of the original clip? is it satire? this is one of the best worst takes i've ever witnessed. usually leftists get chided for reading too many books and obsessing about theory. guess the standards change when it comes time to actually do something

  • Another banger for the playlist. This music video in particular goes hard, old soviet prop styles and colours go extremely well with the content.

  • I know very little about the hawk tuah girl other than she did a crypto rug pull scam at some point but honestly good on her, I can only hope I capitalize and get my bag if I ever stumble into 15 minutes of fame. Make bank, change the lives of your family, fade into obscurity.

  • Heard you. VLC is legendary software. I've been using the same media player for 20 years. No enshittification. Use it to watch movies on my computer, to listen to music on my phone. Hell, I'll use it to trim a video if I'm feeling lazy. I'll probably be using it for another 20 years.

    Obligatory:

  • pretty banger video. i wanna keep an eye out on this channel, though game dev stuff usually isn't my jam.

  • They called me a Redditor, and suddenly I was trapped in a small red room where every upvote echoed like a scream from another dimension. A sickly, flickering glow from a basement monitor. There is light in the world, but not here.

  • One great benefit of the stop killing games initiative is the spotlight being put onto EULA's. we all knew this is the wild shit EULA's tried to dictate for years now, but now we have media actually reporting on it. even if SKG goes nowhere, at least we've had a revival of this massive consumer issue.

  • This is an awesome take delivered really well.

  • most birthdays for most people are mundane. you have people happy to wish you happy birthday so you're luckier than a lot

    merry birthmas comrade

  • peak inside store

  • Now this is the type of posting I come here for.

  • Interesting that western media can't seem to report any details on this game, some conflicting reports on if it's a mobile or PC game. Frustrating that nowhere online seems to have any details at all. I want to see some game play of Yankee Hunter, or even get a download.

There's also been a VR game developed there, which surprises me.

  • Kind of reeling that this app is only available for iphones. It says something, I'm not sure what, that this service intended to help those of sensitive immigration status, is only available on high-end premium phone models.

  • I'm not in the US, so my advice isn't very applicable. I think the job market is very different over there than it is where I'm from in Australia.

Still, might help you to know I worked my way into a full time WFH job with very little skills or relevant qualification. Full luck, I'm sure, but I applied for a data admin job and then worked my way into a more specialized role within the company. They can't get me back into the office now, I'm too entrenched.

Good luck with your search, finding a company that offers it isn't nearly as hard as landing the gig.

  • safe to say ram_the_manparts has you covered

  • War is the enemy of humanity and I'm going to be existentially disillusioned if I witness the start of another global conflict.

  • balatro and animal crossing activate the lizard part of my brain that tells me its time to kill

  • MGSV's secret event ending is really fuckin' cool and adjacent to the series' overarching politics. i'll spoil tag it but note it doesn't weigh in on the main plot all that much

you're able to break in to each other's bases as part of the multiplayer component and steal resources and staff, but also nukes. should the community come together and focus on stealing and disarming every single nuke from everyone else, aka the total amount of nukes hit zero, you unlock the nuclear disarmament event where your efforts of forcibly removing nukes from the world is celebrated. iirc this has never been triggered naturally due to people hoarding nukes
