  • imo 0% chance he was a groyper. that narrative was always flimsy from day dot. he reads to me as a liby/lefty type with generic, terminally online views. few friends irl and discord servers full of braindead irony-poisoned 'friends.' if you needed to call him left/right for the culture war he'd be left, but, from where i'm standing, he was as center/typical as they come. definitely not a radicalized rightoid though.

  • but at what cost?

  • Huge shout out to keeping it up and running! I use this website all the time. I really should begin contributing to it myself

  • ethan sees all life lost as an inherent tragedy as long as you're not a Palestinian child

  • pro-piracy morals aren't rooted in the idea that publishers/developers are opponents who behave poorly enough that they 'deserve' piracy of their products, so there is no product so uniquely good and crafted by 'the good ones' that you should be expected not to pirate it.

pro-piracy morals are rooted in the fact that art is now free to infinitely distribute. continued artificial restriction of art & culture will not be tolerated by anyone educated enough

  • Feel the video is a bit sensationalist, as Valve did ultimately fix the mass DMCA claims. He dedicates a section in the video to being incredulous about this but I don't think it makes a huge difference. We'll wait and see if something like this happens again in the future I suppose.

  • I think there are lots of good arguments to raise against AI, even for personal hobby projects. I don't think 'you can learn to code yourself' will ever be one of them.

  • fundie father in law recently found out I was into commie shit and spent months sending me book recommendations of the most unhinged variety, finally sat me down to 'sort me out straight' and actually talk about how we view the world and OP's picture is a great interpretation of what that looked like

  • Collective Shout is run of the mill radfems. Their most conservative element is one of the founders being Christian, but they otherwise espouse the same views you'll see any other radfem org share, with anti porn/anti sex work being their loudest topics.

I think people are misrepresenting collective shout severely because of what they did, and it's important that we recognize it as radical feminism, because this aligns with exactly what radfems want.

  • These sweaters are giving me the urge to consoom.

  • 'So it’s a combination of genuine passion and also a fear of being a low value individual.’

She also touched upon another aspect of her personality, saying: ‘If I could change one thing about my past, I would tell myself to enjoy myself a little bit more rather than being so riddled with anxiety. But that’s more in social settings than anything else.’

I wonder if these two concepts are linked in any way. hmmm

  • Who made you the hot take police, huh?

  • I think this is the most noticeable difference between someone who has read theory, and someone who has had it regurgitated to them via a podcast. You end up with critical thinking skills you can apply to your real life if you read it. Otherwise, you just forcibly apply hundreds-year-old theory to a world you clearly don't actually live in.

That's my needless speculation for the day. Thanks for sharing OP

  • It's a wonder how understanding class politics doesn't just 'make' more advanced ideas click into place. Do we have to at least give it to him for considering the proletariat?

  • smh can't believe these tankers keep forgetting about man standing in front of tank!

in my highly educated opinion, man standing in front of military vehicle is the greatest sin. next, they'll be advocating for giant spoons to make a come back. fucking tankers

  • grounded 2 came out. first one was a special game for me n my boys so we're hyped up like we're teenagers again. too bad it runs like shit atm

  • yooo whats up its ya boi youtubeman here, back at it again with a fresh video

today we're going to explore the exploitative practice of monetizing a children's video game server. so first thing i'm going to do is give them $100

    bub games this guy ain't

  • I think it's absolutely worth setting up local image gen/text models if you're interested in the tech. My computer is more than 8 years old and generates images fine, it just takes longer to do it. Local video gen is probably still a ways off being viable though.

Making slop is a fun activity.
