they're very strict on c/vegan, i dont (knowingly) eat any animal products nor have bought any animal products since i've gone on the diet (i have leather chair from when i still ate meat etc.). i also didnt really go on the diet because of ethics i just think plants are so much more efficient its irresponsible to be eating animal products on top of all the suffering animal agriculture causes
i have other differing opinions to what seems to be the consensus on c/vegan but all this to say c/vegan is a particuarly, ah, cranky principled set of vegans and i would be very surprised if they would consider me one

i think the idea is interesting, but it goes too far? the point of the masses rebels and elites is that people believe these lies because it gives them a "license" for their already held beliefs that largely align with their (perceived) class interest. so like, to assert our "narrative truth" it must not come from a "place of dominance" but from changing the economic conditions to where everyone buys in because it aligns with their self interest. like when class is destroyed and the whole globe actually lives under communism.
