  • If there is a god or something like a god, it has to be the sun. The sun makes all life possible and has near infinite energy, I can not think of anything more deserving to be god. Will it save us or help us as individuals, i don't think so, its a god we are insignificant in comparison and will burn when staying in its presence for two long. Also its real.

    Another idea I had was from Einsteins quote: "to believe in god you have everything to gain and nothing to lose." So by that logic you better believe in all gods for maximum gain. There are a bunch more suns aswell ;)

  • Crypto is a ledger making it inherently bad for privacy. It doesn't have any real value, its just believe that holds its value (can't be eaten or be used to create anything). Its really bad for the climate and wastes resources like crazy. Its not a better payment system and its unregulated, meaning you can get scammed and nobody can reverse the damage. Just why do people want it to be a thing, the issues are so many and solution few.

  • Or its really bad for organizing and actually fighting capitalism because you are sedated and are okay with the exploitation since you can cope with weed after a long day of work. Revolution takes effort and trust me people on weed are not motivated to do shit and are not very social either. Weed is not the solution to fighting capitalism, it helps the capitalist by making people complaicent and actionless. The only real benefit would be a union strike, where you actually should do nothing. But to organize something like that takes effort and time and motivation.

  • People only really change when it hurts so much they are forced to. It needs to get much worse to reach that breakpoint and critical mass. (Some reach it sooner than others ) But when it does, we need to be ready with the most logical and attractive solution to avoid them choosing fascism or other extremes. Left ideology needs better marketing, why not sell that utopian vision we hope to achieve.
