so… corn? Is this a thing or just something edible the cartoonist randomly chose?
But I do like corn though.
The worst kind of an Internet-herpaderp. Internet-urpo pahimmasta päästä.

What do you mean, you don’t use string parsing method to round to integers? /s
We heard you like AI
…did you? Did you really?
couldn’t post as they’re still trying to escape their selfmade hell. /s
Haven’t been following discord development, but I did test the screen sharing some days ago on linux - just for laughs - and to my surprise it didn’t CTD the app, and it actually streamed the thingy I wanted. Great!
Entirely possible, dunno. And not like a 3090 is that new anymore either.
Basically all of the issues mentioned above have been mentioned in various threads over at nvidia’s forums, etc. So they’re not unknown, but kinda wild a released driver has all of these issues whereas the previous beta was seemingly unaffected - feels like someone was bit too triggerhappy to release an untested version to production.
It’d be nice if I could just drop the nvidia card and swap to amdgpu but… that’d require “a bit” of money so I could maintain same (or better) level of performance - and atm I just don’t want to spend that kind of money. :/
rtx3090, 5800x3d, wayland, sddm, kde:
all these things were fine with 570.86.something - the previous version, which apparently was beta.
haven’t forked, no children. will neighbour’s do?
word. some devices just have angry machine spirits which just can’t be pleased.
unless you use cutting edge distro
yea well, “arch btw”. Haven’t had issues really, been running it for years on other systems but my gaming pc with nvidia is the only one with issues… because of course it does. :D
the penguin migration was going just fine, until nvidia 570.124.04 dropped, which is when the misery started. :|
Got to check if I can roll back to earlier version.
TIL, has it been long when the restriction was dropped? At least wikipedia claims that firefox is webkit on ios, so possibly that is still the case?
afaik, they really can’t. IIRC apple only allows webkit browsers on the platform, so that alone rules out any and all extensions made for firefox. Firefox on iphones is essentially reskinned safari - and that’s about it.
At least this is what internet has led me to believe, dunno, not an apple user.
right click the toolbar -> customize toolbar -> drag it back to it from the palette that should now be visible?
looks like a heave-ho and stick fight combined. Not a bad idea, actually.
Ye. Ut99 weapons were pretty much all great. Personally I didn’t really like the goo gun, but others made it an absolute beast. The sniper rifle ended up being hilariously good at range and stupidly deadly at close range as headshots seemed to trigger on any hit above belly. The buzzaw throwing thing was nifty for the bouncing shots, but iir the headshots with that required hits to the forehead… Which still cut the heads off from the neck. Felt weird that
I guess the default pistol was a bit weak, but dual pistols was decent upgrade to it.
I’m kinda torn between Unreal Tournament’s (ut99) sniper rifle, flak cannon and the instagib variant of the shock rifle.
Nope, never* have, never* will.

I’ll preface this with the fact that I don’t know the game, but looking at the system requirements on steam, both of those systems are below minimum spec.
Also, it would probably help if the macbook actually was on fedora 41, it reads 40 in the screenshot - so maybe try upgrading that one, since the game runs on the system with actual fedora 41?
corn and petting? the future sounds great!
thanks for the explanation.
