  • Flat spaces are hard as you don't want to paint the same space more than once, I use the "moving around a blob of paint" on a slightly inclined paper technique. It's slow but gives wonderful results.

    Impressionists used oil, were there any who used water colors?

    I remember seing one that was partially watercolour but thats it.
