  • So not a truely European replacement for Amazon.

Bol was great while I lived in NL, but now I've left, I'm struggling to find a good replacement

  • I just scrolled Facebook, and out of the 44 posts I came across 10 were from friends or pages I had liked. The rest was sponsored slop, or "you should follow this person" type posts.

No wonder the social interaction is down, when less than a quarter of posts I come across are from the reason to have Facebook.

I'm not friends with corporations, so don't push me their shit.

Prime Facebook was 2007 - 2011/12. When they started algorithm-ing friends posts, that heralded the end. I don't care that I haven't interacted with friend XYZ for a long while, I'm still interested in seeing their stuff equally as much as friend ABC who I interact with daily

  • I thought Bol only serviced Belgium and Netherlands?

  • Deep fake Musk saying that he retracts and drops the suing case, and play it in court.

But make it obviously fake, maybe include his children in it showing love and affection towards him, or something equally far fetched, like him beating a tutorial boss

  • TIL

  • Ahhh, OK, thanks. I saw the +1 and assumed that was the American dialing code, like how UK is +44

  • I assume because it's coming from an American number?

    I'm not 100% sure though

  • Yes

  • So was he promoted or fired by the man upstairs?

  • No idea tbh

  • EU should freeze the funds intended for Hungary, and then see how quickly their tune changes

  • Time to leave the eggs out in the sun

  • Huh, the Greek hero Spiracles saved the bees

  • Jesus

  • Privatising the profits, and getting the tax payer to fund the upkeep... name something more Thatcher-esq

  • Thanks for clarifying

  • Uk has a weird system. The government owns the tracks and rails, but private companies own "the stock", aka the physical trains.

I think GBR is the parent company that owns the rail. I could be wrong, but this is what I remember from looking into it a few years back

  • Now do the same with water and rail companies

    Permanently Deleted

  • FIFA isn't the only one guilty of this. Eurovision also have the same double standard. Russia banned from competing straight away, meanwhile Israel weren't banned last year, despite much complaining.

Then again, Eurovision's main sponsor is an Israeli company.
