  • I've got no clue if Harris or Biden campaigned ever to ban video games ... But let's say they did. Wouldn't it be a good thing to have had their opinions change? I know my opinion changes regarding a lot of things as time goes on.

  • It just sucks to go after the consumer. I hate it. I have a gas stove and love it. I won't change it out unless it's free. No chance.

  • For this stuff when it comes to climate intervention, it just seems like there are so many other things to do before coming after gas stoves and ranges.

  • I've never heard of that. That's a cool idea.

  • Maybe leases?

  • I just call it the mach e.

  • We call the mach e but it's really not. It's closer to a large 4 door hatchback than an SUV. I have one and I have a Ford escape... The escape is larger than the mach e and the escape isn't very big at all.

  • No, not really. You just stated it over and over again. I think there is a conflation of innovation and industry leader.

So many tech companies try to copy apple. They try to figure out what makes apple successful and mimic that. Apple continues to grow. Their products are largely loved by people. What else do you need to be an industry leader?

  • How exactly has apple not been an industry leader? They are the industry leader.

  • I'd love a more active sports area. I comment semi regularly in a few. There is small engagement, but would love even 10-15% more.

  • This is simply not true. Even at fast chargers I do not get the advertised charging rate in my vehicle. So many factors influence it (heat, other vehicles charging, my cars software, etc..). I am lucky and can charge at home, but I. Road trips, I'm taking 25-30 minutes to charge, which is an inconvenience at this current time.

  • I remember enjoying this. I need to re watch it because I can't remember most of the highlights.

  • An AI chatbot for a cloud service I use helped me find the right documentation for setting up SSO. It's not all bad. But the way it's pushed is bad.

  • I have a Dell XPS and have had zero issues with it. Does what I need - which is minimal, I admit, but it's great.

  • It must have been all that. I'm sure I bought something while there. It was only done one year so maybe they didn't make enough money.

  • I'd go to full day festivals for $30. Seriously. One year, I went to ozzfest and it was free! That year they dubbed it "freefest". This isn't even that long ago, I'm talking 15-20 years ago I was able to do this.

  • They try, but nowadays you can have your new carrier buy you out!

  • I agree. However there are some gems. Got one good piece of advice from https://lemmy.world/u/BombOmOm and now I'm on the Linux train (at least on one laptop anyway).

  • The best way I've heard it explained is that excel is too good at doing too many, but it isn't the correct tool for many of those things. Since it's good and accessible, people make it work and then you get this jumbled mess of stuff after time passes.
