If you rock up to border control in a Cybertruck truck any half decent agent will have alarm bells going off in their mind and most likely will stop you. I think a lot of people know the Cybertruck is an illegal vehicle in the UK.
Furthermore, once you reach the other side you would be driving an illegal vehicle instantly. I’d say on the ferry you have pretty much no chance of getting past border control as the UK border control is actually in the UK. However, the channel tunnel the border control is in France so if you get passed that somehow and onto the train you are free.
Obviously we don’t know yet if there was anything else wrong with the plane apart from the landing gear but aren’t pilots trained to land a plane without landing gear in case the situation arises?
I would completely agree with you if that was what this feature was being used for, however most manufacturers use it to install bloatware instead of drivers which is not acceptable in my opinion.
Not to mention the huge security risk of running exe files at boot up that could be exploited by malicious people. I’m sure manufacturers aren’t releasing a new bios update every time they update their software so old versions could have unpatched vulnerabilities…
I haven’t personally traveled on this station before but looking online at pictures it seems this station is overground not underground and doesn’t have the platform screen doors.
I do know other lines have started to add platform screen doors as well on the London Underground namely Waterloo Underground Station and the Jubilee line.
