No video game's story has ever made me cry. But I've cried a little from games that I loved, but played to death, getting every achievement and realizing there was absolutely nothing more to experience.
A USB keylogger is not detectable by the computer, not in firmware nor operating system. It passively sniffs the traffic between the USB keyboard and the computer, to be dumped out later.
In the Odyssey DLC, there is a scenario where you start with a ship.
Raid strength is proportional to your wealth, as shown in the history tab. You can reduce raid strength by donating wealth (using caravans or drop pods) to potential allies.
For me, Concerta, Ritalin, and Adderall all had basically the same effect. I ended up asking my doctor to put me on Adderall long term, because it was cheapest.
Not everyone will have the same experience though, and since Methylphenidate has worked for you before, I'd recommend sticking with it unless you have a problem. (Appetite suppression tends to be a problem on all stimulants though.)
Ritalin is the same drug as Concerta (Methylphenidate) but without the osmotic release system. That makes it a lot cheaper, if that matters to you.
Regarding all the comments that just say "ask a doctor", I'm sure they mean well, but when you get to the doctor they may very well offer to prescribe any one of these, at your choice.
Fuck'em. Claire's shipped cadmium jewelry to children, and said they had no reason to believe it was unsafe. Should've been given the corporate death sentence, but instead, I don't even think they got any criminal charges.
sgt-puzzles. Simon Tatham's Portable Puzzle collection.
Contains a bunch of simple puzzles, of the minesweeper and sudoku style. Loopy is my favorite.
Available for Linux, Windows, MacOS, Android, and anything with a web browser and a mouse. Packaged in Debian and F-droid, and probably many other places.
I like it for time wasting in lines at the DMV, for a low-stakes game when anxious, and for falling asleep.
Generative AI and their outputs are derived products of their training data. I mean this ethically, not legally; I'm not a copyright lawyer.
Using the output for personal viewing (advice, science questions, or jacking off to AI porn you requested) is weird but ethical. It's equivalent to pirating a movie to watch at home.
But as soon as you show someone else the output, I consider it theft without attribution. If you generate a meme image, you're failing to attribute the artists whose work trained the AI without permission. If you generate code, that code infringes the numerous open source licenses of the training data, by failing to attribute it.
Even a simple lemmy text post generated by AI is derived from thousands of unattributed novels.
What alternative do you recommend that won't be blocked by Google and Microsoft? I hate Microsoft, but I can't even sign up for a Google account, and everywhere else I've tried is blocked by Google, Microsoft, or both.
I self-hosted my email from 2006-2021, and do not have the stamina to do that any more.
What others say is true. Most Linux installers have an option to overwrite data.
If you want to destroy data independently, Darik's Boot and Nuke used to be good, though it seems discontinued now. ShredOS looks like a modern alternative.
I agree with this. Also, I think the rich people trying to control the working class don't have a grand conspiracy. Mostly, I think they silently cooperate in a way that looks coordinated, but is just individual self-interest that happens to line up. We get screwed on all fronts by similar-looking corporations, so it looks like a conspiracy.
But when rich people buy politicians, that's a public and well known conspiracy.
Why is the driving limit 4 times higher than the limit for acting as a flight attendant?
