  • Yeah, this is all statistics. My wife forces me to lock all the windows every time we leave or go to sleep. Even though the window in my office would require a fucking ladder to crawl inside of the window from the outside.

    I told her it's statistically more likely for somebody to pick up a rock from somebody's yard and come in through the front of the house, then it would be for somebody to come in with a ladder at the back to crawl into the 2nd floor window.

    Doesn't matter, she still wants me to lock the windows.

  • I second this as a sandbox builder game. Self hosted a server and played with my wife for a few months. I feel like I barely scratched the full content of the game. Base building and taming/companions really is a delight. Especially building a full fortress with all the "staff" for the crafting stations.

  • Yes and no. You're correct about people skipping seasoning while bulking up. Which is what this looks like based on the protein bottle in the background.

    I've also spoken to someone in person and online that skip seasoning while just trying to eat healthier.

    I mean I get it. You're trying to eat healthy but you don't have to punish yourself over it. I can make a fantastic salad with air fryer well spiced chicken.

  • I prefer using LMMs for tech debt stuff like starting a readme and doing comments.

    I do the real brain work and the end product looks nicer.

    Sudo code (baseline comments), real code, dev/test, LMM to add more words after. Smack it when it touches my code.

  • On top of every fucking company trying to find ways to replace people with some BS AI solution. Causing layoffs or just less hiring.

    Just look at audible replacing human voice actors with AI voices. The backlash there was visceral. Then there's all the companies using AI for customer support. Although it might do a better job than some humans there it still adding a few more steps before you can talk to a human with a pulse.
