  • Maybe Idiocracy won't happen. The stupid ones should wipe themselves out in a pandemic. We just need to wait for the right one.

  • Wide-leg jeans are an 80s thing. They were already phased out in the 90s.

  • While the scale-up is in progress, a non-aggression pact with Russia would be prudent.

What for? Srsly what for? Russia proved they shit on bilateral and multilateral contracts and the Geneva convention. Why should anyone reward them with a NAP?

  • CDU was always center-right and SPD center-left. In the last years SPD slowly drifted to center. Some still consider them center-left.

You should check on the definition of extremist. The AfD ist far-right, yes, but not extremist (yet).

  • Dafür gab es mancherorts die MLPD zur Auswahl.

  • Bread? pre-sliced.

    Cheese? pre-shredded.

Why? They'll lose their flavor! Only cut a slice right before you eat it.

Butter? melt and pour it baby.

    For what?

  • Söder pretty much declared the Greens their main enemy. I don't think there'll be a coalition of CDU/CSU and Green in the Bundestag until CxU declares a new main enemy (why not AfD?).

  • Germany will probably get a centrist-right (CDU/CSU) government with a centrist-left junior partner (SPD).Centrist-right is far left in US terms.

I expect stagnancy in German politics for the next 4 years. -_-

  • It's an emergent property caused by multiple storms, the rotation of the planet and 'simple' wave patterns. Even Earth sometimes develop a hexagons caused by jetstreams and ocean currents. But they are way more unstable than the Saturn one.

  • You don't do much in a kitchen, do you? Make bread slices with a bread knife is much easier than with a chef's knife. Putting butter on a bread is much easier with a butter knife. Also you can't accidentally cut yourself with it.

But keep cutting your cheese with a chef's knife. Everybody chooses their own torture.

  • Look at the picture. There'll be not much green left. They'll only leave the trees alone and based on the figure of 40 000 new residents the buildings will be taller than the trees. I don't think that is great.

Cities are more livable when there are parks every few blocks. I mean big ones, at least half a mile long. People need nature, not a tree here and there.

  • Interesting idea. I'm not sure if that works everywhere but it's a start. :)

  • IMO there’s some bad blood between the UK and the EU.

Not so much that it matters. The financial industry wants them back in the fold. It would be a win-win for UK and EU. But there is one or two maybe major cons for the UK: They won't get the UK rebate back and they won't get any other exceptions. That means they'll have to switch to the Euro. They'll probably accept paying the same as the other member states but I'm not sure if they'll accept the Euro.

  • Curves have entered the chat.

  • Why building something on it instead of converting it into a park? People love green stuff, you know.

  • And they could lose a lot - their job first, which also means their house and their health insurance. Not to mention plenty of laws criminalizing most protest already, where you are bound to be caught on camera or via other digital surveillance, and a single arrest on your permanent record means no future employment, and missed payments on your credit history means no future economic prospects.

It's astounding you aren't already rioting! People in my country would tar and feder the guy who's responsible for that or anyone who doesn't want to change that.

  • "If he's that worried about it and wets himself like a little child, then he is unworthy and will never lead France," Bannon said.

You know, it's not a productive thing to insult the guys you want to get on your side. Rookie mistake.
