  • Curious why you would need Gimp and Inkscape? Wouldn't one of them be enough? Is one of them better suited for certain tasks?

  • You can select GE-Proton in Heroic under "Wine Manager".

    Most games simply work for me in Heroic but sometimes I have to try a few versions until it's working properly.

  • I truly wonder what's the purpose of that behaviour though. Kill every last bit of motivation pre-job? I remember a time, when the hiring process wasn't pure vitriol. Are these HR people so fed up with their jobs or what's going on?

  • I don't think that's distro related. I've played GW2 on Mint with an Nvidia card and it worked just like on Windows. I installed the Steam version though and linked my account.

    What Proton version are you using in Steam to play it, did you try some different ones? Without knowing what your issue really is, there are some tinker steps mentioned on ProtonDB, maybe have a look. It's really hard to recommend anything without more info.

  • I personally wouldn't downgrade to Android 11 since the Lineage Installation Instructions clearly state you need to be on 12.

    If there is an error during unlocking the bootloader, I would get in touch with the people from LineageOS - scroll to the end of the same page "Get assistance".
