  • If no one is taking credit for it on the flyer, it might be bait to get people to come out to a fake (& unlicensed) protest to get themselves arrested.

    Edit: "unlicensed"...I meant there's no city permit obtained for the gathering. Many cities require such permits so they have a head's up for crowd control and first responder staffing. No permit would mean they declare it an illegal protest and that introduces potential arrests.

  • Sometimes a store will discount a certain product way below its value in order to attract customers to visit the store (and buy other things at regular price along with their bargain item). It's called a "loss leader".

    If it wasn't this, then the manufacturer could be discontinuing the flavor or the store could be trying to get rid of their stock of this brand because they want to switch to another one.

  • This is my take as well. She's happy to see/ talk to you, but she thinks she's sending out some kind of hint or another then gets moody when she thinks you haven't picked up on a vague hint and responded in kind.

    If she's said you can come over (again, vaguely vs outright asking you to come hang out on X day), then ask her if this Saturday would be good? Figure out a movie to stream. After you start it, get a cozy blanket and ask her if she wants to snuggle while watching the movie?

    This would have totally worked on teen me.
