  • I've done some superficial researches but I couldn't find anything: does anyone know what the morale is like in the regions that voted to join the Russian federation ? I only found out recently that there was a referendum held in the regions almost immediately by Russia. Stop. I know you want to call these referendum a sham, but this isn't the question here. Russia is going to operate as though they aren't a sham and no one has the power to stop them at the moment, so what I'm asking is "what is going on in these regions".

I can't find the article I initially found on the matter, but apparently civilian areas were being shelled by Ukraine during the vote period.

I'm not sure why Kyiv is so obsessed with fighting to reclaim regions that were ethnic russians and that seems like they don't even want to be part of Ukraine.

  • Bureaucrat banker (with previous financial ties with Jared Kushner, Trump's in-law).

This liberal administration does not deserve trust, they deserve continuous pressure from everyone.

  • No one disputes the need to get people in the street. I agree with you there.

My cautionary tale is that turning to democrats or other mainstream ""resistance"" is a trap meant to deflate popular morale.

  • It's good to see people politically animated, but these protests are largely 'controlled opposition'. It's an emergency venting valve where the people's frustration is channeled into a meaningless whistle.

The whole system is rotted. The democrats are not fighting for the small folk at all. If anything, a branch of the party is probably relieved that the republicans moved the overton window so far right.

Real change will require actual upheaval. You can't vote or protest your way out of this shit. Major civilian disobedience and unionizing is required across the board. There are some of us (working class) that are doing some unassuming maintenance in the orphan crushing machine. We won't get anywhere as long as people are operating their evil cog as normal. These protests won't do anything as long as it's being directed through the democrat pressure valve, as it is built in as a safety device in the orphan crushing machine.

  • They absolutely did let it happen on purpose. We had information that pointed to this conclusion within weeks of the attack.

Egypt told Israel that Hamas was planning something.

You can walk to the closest military base faster than the IDF reacted to Hamas' operation.

Nova survivors are sueing the security forces in presence: a single phone call could've saved hundred of lives.

The list goes on and on, this is absolutely a case of "let it happen on purpose".

  • I can agree with that. Palestinians should get to decide whether they're one state or more.

  • That's part of the problem and why one recurring demand is for Palestine to have a single contiguous territory, instead of the bisection done by Israel.

  • I'm going to start pointing to this when I explain to people why I want "dumb" machines.

I don't want AI to "summarize" my google search, I don't want ads distracting drivers, I don't want a washing machine that needs updates, I don't want my TV to look at me, I want a submissive little machine that does task X.

  • Bollocks, there's plenty of treaties and trade we can slash to sanction Israel.

These humanitarian drops are essentially pointless. We need to cut ties with this bloodthirsty american project.

  • So according to you, there's a crypto that 1. doesn't need any capital (computers), 2. doesn't need wastable energy (power that wouldn't otherwise be used) and 3. is actually impossible to track across the board?

  • As far as I know it's just french spelling, not limited to French-Canadian.

  • Have you heard of the lottery?

Whole-ass time travel to "buy more bitcoin", what a clown.

  • Adding a few more points to fully kill crypto as a "freedom currency"

    • Generating crypto requires capital; people with computers and access to energy will instantly get the ability to outgenerate any other crypto participant
    • Energy-centric currency just empowers the same rich lobbies; oil and gaz lobbies are delighted to see that there's an uptick in energy demand
    • People with right material (read, capital) can track you, but low chance to track anyone doing crime at a national level (due to odds of them having a competent IT (baring the Hegseth drunkards out there))
  • Having us as one state - jamming Quebec, BC, Ontario, etc all together would be a recipe for disaster above and beyond all the other disasters involved. It would be like, I don’t know, merging New York and Georgia into one state. The FLQ alone would instantly revive and start up their bombing campaigns again.

The American elites are not above fostering a state of crisis and chaos. The BLM riots happened under Biden's administration. Biden had deportation camps. Look at current day USA.

These "disasters" are not the deterrent you think it is.

And be real, they would never give us status as states. We’d be Puerto Rico North at best until the violence died down in a century of terrorism and genocide.

Being "real" would be admitting that the US empire is on the verge of collapses. I think decades of continuation is possible, but unlikely. Century? Impossible (at least, for the current statu quo).

  • The US plans some of their invasion/regime change over the course of years if not decades.

I honestly believe that Trump was briefed on some plans to annex Greenland, Canada and Panama, and the fucking buffoon let the cat out of the bag.

I have something like 57% certainty that democrats would eventually start denouncing "fentanyl labs" in Canada and create excuses for invasion.

edit: Worth noting, by the way, that's it's a consensus that Canada is more liberal than the US. Having Canada as a 51st state would essentially be handling the Dems a huge advantage for all elections going forward... Gee golly, I wonder whether they might actually root for Don a little bit, there.

  • Then it's fine to fasten a noose around the natives' neck and very gradually tighten it?

What else could you be indicating by posting about this in this context? It's true that natives were nomadic people moving through the land, but how does that make it right for europeans to come in and claim land in a permanent fashion from across the globe?

  • ah yes, that time when america was a land without people, and americans were a people without land

  • I think that the fact that youths and families are leaving is a much worse demographic crisis than it might seem at first glance. It's literally the future of the country that is leaving.

It's definitely looking dire for Israel, just on a demographic level.

  • I'm not sure I understand what you are implying by if progress is made. Progress on what, exactly?
