  • Pensions in theory are nice, because it guarantees you a certain quality of life after you retired. Also since most of the time there is a minimum pension its good for people that had to stay home raising kids and not having an income to pay for their pension in that time. Otherwise the people not owning property at that age would become homeless since the rent keeps going up and is just not affordable anymore.

    Nobody the age of 65 can or should be required to perform hard physical work.

    My mom is 62 this year and will retire at 64, she works in an office doing administrative things and she herself tells me she just cant keep up with new tool, technology etc. even ui changes are hard for her. Now imagine this at the age of 70, how productive can anyone really be?

  • Well this isnt the fault of the Protocol or Signal, since Signal is open source everyone can modify it howerever they like.

    This means you could just "break" the client by deleting 100 random lines of code and recompiling so that it doesnt start up anymore (which again isnt the App fault, but you modifying the code)

    In this way, the Isreali company changed the code of the App, effectively creating a new app that has the BASE of Signal, but is not the same.

    Since the client needs to be able to read the message, it has to decode the mesaage and if you extract the data there by modifying the code, nobody can prevent that because its just bad practice

    Yes sometimes these guys (CEOs) do longer hours, but it consits of eating dinner with other Cs, looking at presentations (which they cant judge because they generally have no idea how the actual business runs), sitting in meeting, flying to other meetings and pretending to look at some company numbers and of course having the very very high responsibility that they keep talking about that they actually never ever have.

    Does this mean they should make x50 or more than the average worker ? You judge that.
