  • I doubt the importers will be refunded. Obviously if they were, 90%+ will not refund their customers because why would they? I can imagine class action lawsuits down the road, but honestly I predict the supreme court will overturn any lower court rulings and let him tariff away, saying it's the congress's job to reign him in since "it's their prerogative" or some such, in a 6-3 ruling. If they wanted to stop the tariffs, the majority will argue, they could simply cancel them.

  • I'm not trying to force anyone to even think a particular way, let alone DO something. But when the choice is the person who literally wants you dead vs someone who's willing to maybe marginalize you in the current political environment, I would mildly urge you to maybe kindly vote against the guy with a gun to your head who will pull the trigger when he wins. Just sayin'. Maybe focus on the marginalization issue next season before it gets to the gun to the head again. "FUCK YOU KILL ME" isn't really the best choice in my humble opinion.

  • On voting day, you have a choice. Vote for the evil empire or vote for the opposition. I'm not sure what you think voting for Uncle Earl waving a happy face flag off to the side is going to accomplish. Moral victories are only victories if the morals actually have victories. We all knew what the choices were in 2024. Any anyone who didn't vote for Harris in the general election voted for what we got. End of story.

    You know how you get a government that reflects your morals? You start by electing a government that actually gives a shit about you in the first place, not by writing in someone who will never be your government.

  • When it comes to US national politics at the end of the day you have to choose. When it comes to the president, you have 3choices. The Republican, the Democrat, or tossing your vote. It doesn't matter if you write in Mickey Mouse, vote for that Green Party lady, Lindon LeRouche or whomever, you and I both know that you're throwing away your vote, and chances are handing it to the Republican nominee. Your "morals" mean nothing. You shit on the rest of us to make some point that literally nobody will be impacted by, because you gave the Devil your vote. In conclusion, fuck you.
