  • Voluntary vs involuntary human shields. Hamas plundered the wealth of all Gaza and used it to build 500 miles of tunnels in an area only 25 miles wide.

It is meaningfully different, yes. There's been a handful of strapping people to a car. It's a crime in Israel. People have been imprisoned for it.

    ~5 people < ~2,000,000 people.

5 people is basically an isolated incident.

2,000,000 people decade over decade is a modus operandi.

  • It was used as flares not as an incendiary.

  • What's best for America is containing Iran.

So... Not sure what your going on about. It would be grossly negligent for a US president to break or alliance with Israel and let Iran run the middle east for the next century. You think human rights are under threat now, but you think we should let Iran run things. Seems either ignorant or hypocritical.

  • Nope. Wrong on the law.

  • No. Read the law.

  • Spoiler alert: no.

  • These people aren't in government.

They haven't been appointed to anything.

There isn't a new federal agency called DOGE.

Stop giving Trump all this shit.

Congress creates agencies, not a president elect. And it takes years to create an agency. A new agency created today probably wouldn't promulgate its first lawful regulation for two years.

The idea that any of this Musk shit is actually happening is Republican fan fiction.

  • I'm not trying to spread propoganda so I don't have a database of links ready to copy and paste. I'm also not staying any facts that cannot be easily verified.

  • Sure, it can be reasonable. Using it as "whataboutism" though isn't a legitimate argument.

Hamas uses entire cities. Millions of people. Generations of young men and women who might otherwise prosper except they are born into a place run by Hamas.

It's disgusting when anyone uses human shields. In Israel it's a crime. In Gaza, it's a the greatest hope of the leadership, that a civilian might die to an Israeli bomb.

  • Anyone can throw a few links together from literal propaganda outlets of foreign state media and from people who begin every single "article" with "Click Here to Donate!"

Praying this doesn't fall on the blind. You, know, because you can see with your own eyes what's happening in Gaza.

  • Just pretend you're sure that reactionaries down voting a fact that makes them feel angry doesn't change the truth of the fact. I don't even need to imagine. The downvotes track with my experience: most people are dumbasses.

  • Is this dumb denialism?

  • Yes, the confirmation bias must be very soothing for your cognitive disonnance. Deep down you must know there's not going to be a ceasefire while Hamas is still clinging to power.

  • He asks good questions. Curiosity killed the cat, though.

He's just smart enough to ask a good question and have an engaging interview, he's not smart enough to ever be duly informed by the answers.

  • If you don't use /s people just think you're stupid fyi.

  • He is another Russian asset. If the CIA could do their fucking jobs I'd be very greatful.

  • Every Trump supporter in my neighborhood is on the sexual offender registry, no joke. At first I thought "let's go Brandon" was some like NAMBLA rallying slogan because literally there are four sex offenders around the area and they were the only people two years ago with Trump and maga shit all over their dumpy little houses. I'd rather be in the bathroom with any trans person than any Republican.
