  • my whole point is that you should install the game twice if you play it on both since launching on windows can cause issues with proton working for some reason, obviously anyone should keep games they have on the performant filesystem and ntfs is not preferred i dont use it on anything but the windows drive but thats not what the reddit post was even saying they were doing.

  • i dont think it really is that, the games should still work fine if they dont access the same appdata. They would just use steam cloud saves. Windows steam does something fucky that stops the launching of the game entirely

  • lol i agree trust me thats why i did the same thing except for bcache with xfs, i wouldnt get gaming errors but i switched after having windows mounting the drive make it unmountable without a fsck that shit pmo never been happier not dealing with that shitty filesystem

  • i only ever did when trying vr games on linux vs windows but after getting that error i just never bothered again too much hassle i would get rid of my dualboot but im paranoid of the rare occasion when i need it to help friends or do some sort of weird windows specific shit even though it never happens and is honestly a waste of storage

  • yea i got banned for saying the bpdlovedones abuse support sub was unhealthy by describing how it promotes harmful stereotypes and often has people come together to support eachothers worst delusions about the situation and connect those extreme fears back to being natural behaviour of bpd. i got abused by a partner w bpd so it was specifically something i came at as someone who ended up with my healing process made longer by such unhealthy community members spreading more delusional fears. I then got banned cuz bpdlovedones is run by some pretty delusional people who promote these harmful practices(despite me not being mean or argumentative or anything and preempting everything with my personal experience as well as my psychologist who also already knew about the sub and thought its an extremely harmful place), and i made a new account to still engage and help other abused people like i always had prior. got clocked for ban evasion and just never used reddit again since im always banned and using a vpn etc to keep an account is annoying.

    them banning me and refusing to appeal my account led to me getting cut off from a friend in an extremely abusive relationship and addicted to heroin who i was helping to try to escape their extremely dangerous partner who was literally threatening to kill them constantly and beating them up so thats very cool. idek if shes alive now they banned her too later and i tried to make a new account just to msg her. very disappointed that you lose message privileges

  • yea you're right but this is just the phone i already have sadly, i would really love to see it supported by postmarketos, maybe once i know a bit more programming ill look at what it would take to get the network stack working or just hope someone else does so in the next few years(unlikely since nobody is working on the port rn, i contacted them to make sure)

  • you compared a tesla to a Lamborghini... and were complaining that chinese evs selling well doesn't mean theyre better than teslas when objectively many of these cars have a bunch of reasons that they are reviewed better than teslas. You using the stock market to act like teslas are some gold standard has some pretty big importance as to why it matters to bring up Elon Musk and government subsidies, because tesla wouldn't have that valuation at all without those realities.
