  • I'm more bothered by keyboard warriors intent on gatekeeping.

  • Tear the whole rotten system down. Let's be done with politicians forever.

  • What a world we live in where not only does something like this happen, but that it's allowed to happen. Companies don't even get a slap on the wrist anymore, they can just do whatever they want now without any repercussions, that's what's really scary about this.

  • Give someone even a tiny amount of power and it totally corrupts them. There isn't a person in the world worth anything the moment they become a politician.

  • "I voted for Nixon's fifth term, just like everybody else"

(I think I'm completely butchering the line, but my acknowledging it makes it okay)

  • I can definitely relate to that. I thought I'd be happy at my old job because the pay was so good, but the hours were long and the work was exhausting. I convinced myself taking a lesser paying job would be a step down and make my life worse, but after a particularly bad month I took the plunge and left. I'm making less now, but the schedule is sane and the work hits the right balance between not too difficult but not too easy either.

  • I'm sure the CIA is behind this, at least to some degree.

  • There's no going back. We all know that, right? This is the new normal. This is life forever more now.

  • It seems like every time I seen news from the EU, it's about how they're frothing at the mouth to give up even more sovereignty to the US in exchange for literally nothing. Can someone living in the EU please explain what's going on?

  • Because oil and car companies have spent decades spending hundreds of millions of dollars lobbying politicians and spreading anti-bike and anti-public transpiration propaganda.

  • I can totally see a scenario where the US government tells them "keep pushing chat control or we're going to invade Greenland."

  • A year or two ago I would have felt sorry for her.

Now I have absolutely zero sympathy.

  • I quit watching all sports, cold turkey, four years ago and haven't looked back. I feel so much better now and have more free time.

  • I'm sure you have ample evidence to back up this claim.

  • I think he'd be more likely to say "what are taxes?"
