  • Read the title of your post carefully. You missed a "between", or "and" needs to change to "to". Otherwise it doesn't make sense.

Pro tip: the rule of thumb, and sometimes actual community rule, is to always use the original title instead of making your own. If you want to add something put it after the original title and if you want to fix an error in the title use square brackets, like "[fixed word]".

  • Hahaha exactly! So good.

  • Don't write down your crimes

  • It'll impress the ladies/gentleman/etc... Especially if you can do it "clean" - like if you leave the kitchen a mess, it's not nearly as hot.

  • Just check the box, move on.

We asked for it to be on by default and have a "don't ask me again" checkbox. That's what we got.

  • 42

  • That sucks. From the article it looks like they are at least writing the firmware, but it's hard to tell.

I'm curious because I just ordered a couple of C210s to tinker with.

  • Is that true for TP-link? I always thought they were an OEM.

  • Do you honestly think that everyone outside the US sees the words "Supreme Court" in a news article title and automatically thinks its the US Supreme Court instead of the Supreme Court for their own country?

  • Would this title be misleading if it was about the US Supreme Court?

And in any case the point is YES as an audience we need to make sure we know what we're commenting on. It's basically your one job as an audience member - think critically about what you're reading. Otherwise you get whatever hell Facebook is.

  • FIY you broke the title. Happy hot holidays!

  • Yeah I just figure UI can factor into that a bit more, like some apps don't show it.

  • Posts like this are a great test for whether people read the article (or even the first paragraph) before commenting.

  • Yeah I'm not playing my sax anymore this year either.

  • Geneviève Grégoire, a spokesperson for Metro, said it was important to remember that theft, for any reason, is unacceptable and constitutes a criminal act.

    Thanks Javert err.. Geneviève.

  • Well, just their juice.

  • Block. If it was a close friend I might give different advice, but this is a stranger on the internet being annoying (or worse). Responding to him will only make it worse. Block and move on. Note: you (both) might still think about it later and you might feel a pang of guilt, or shame, or worry, or whatever. You shouldn't, because you're doing nothing wrong, but that's fine if you do. It happens to everyone. You'll think about it less and less over time.

Also, I would give the same advice to someone who isn't a minor, and you're right to question his actions. He shouldn't be asking/nagging for free work. No means no and is absolutely the right answer.

If he knows your girlfriend is a minor, that just moves this to another level and she shouldn't even hesitate to block him. If he gets around the block report him right away.
